Meet the family behind C&C EDM

C&C EDM, Inc. is a family-owned and operated company. Chuck is the President, his wife Carolyn is the Vice President and Treasurer, their son Charlie is Shop Manager, and their daughter Jennifer is Office Manager. Chuck is a specialist in Wire Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM). His career has spanned over 35 years and he has worked with many Fortune 500 companies as well as small shops.

Chuck has a special knack for matching his unique technology of machining complicated intricate parts in tolerances of +/-.0001″ with industry requirements. In most instances, he finds a less expensive approach to a better solution, exceeding customer expectations. Today, much of C&C EDM’s work is concentrated in the mass production of small parts for the fiber optics and medical industries, as well as the commercial, military, and law enforcement firearms industries.

Owning and operating a Wire EDM shop has always been our only business

For the last 35 years, we have specialized in the perfection of Wire EDM technology and guaranteed total customer satisfaction, which has helped us to create and maintain lasting relationships with our customers. We’re not only looking for customers — we are creating partnerships! Our aim is to become not just a part of the process, but your partner in the process. By offering knowledgeable engineering assistance, manufacturing excellence, and top-notch customer service, we become an integral part of your engineering and manufacturing team.

We provide an alternative to stamping and fineblanking

Unlike conventional stamping where tooling costs are high, volume requirements are long, and lead time is excessive, our Wire EDM alternative is cost-effective, accurate, and rapid. Our process is also ideal for prototyping or for producing complex, intricate, and exacting parts with exceptional edge quality.

Our software is from Optisolutions

Optisolutions is perfectly suited for our Agie Wire EDM machines with its simple programming of features for the AgieVision control. It also enables us to import our customers’ solid models and extract what we need instantly with Optisolutions Automatic Feature Recognition. This allows us to have a program running on a machine in less than 3 minutes!
